Let’s go equal
The Solange Project
Since 2018, Katharina Cibulka and her team have been mounting hand-embroidered scaffolding nets on well-frequented, prominent construction sites, inviting the public to join the conversation on feminist issues. Each sentence begins with "As long as..." and ends with "...I will be a feminist", addressing existing inequalities.

description
SOLANGE / AS LONG AS is international and speaks all languages. The art interventions take place on the façades of museums, universities, churches and fortresses from Vienna via Cologne, Ljubljana and Rabat to Washington, D.C. The subjects are developed on location in participatory processes. SOLANGE / AS LONG AS raises awareness for gender equality beyond the feminist bubble – on site and on social media. This lavishly illustrated volume describes the 28 projects in 7 countries to date and provides an insight into the nets’ background stories and their public reception.
